As for the next 6 months, I will be working with Africa Conservation Fund with their Alternative Fuel’s Program. Based in Goma, I will be responsible for inserting the fuel briquettes in the local market. As I write this post, 120 press machines are being built, and training will be starting very soon, engaging 720 local people.

On the other hand, Project Kadutu is keeping up its hard work! I will be updating this blog with the latest progress on the machines already installed in the General Hospital, IFRADE and Tshivanga.
The good news is that 5 new press machines have been donated to this project, so shortly I will be identifying possible local groups/organizations where this machines can benefit from! I will be telling you more about the donor in the following weeks.

Soy Director de Tecnología de CRUZ DEL NORTE INDUSTRIAL Y MINERA S.A., tenemos en Jujuy, zona subtropical, una Planta Industrial de Destilación de Petróleo (hecha en 1998), una Planta de Biodiesel (que hicimos en el 2000), una Planta de Pirólisis de Residuos y Biomasa (que hicimos en 1999 y funciona muy bien), y 4 Gasificadores de Madera que proveen energía térmica a los otros equipos.
Me interesa incorporar y divulgar la prensa para briquetear papel y aserrín y el horno. Las briquetas las podríamos usar en los gasificadores, en lugar de madera aserrada, como ahora.
¿Nos pueden dar detalles/dibujos/croquis/planos de la prensa, el horno y el procedimiento de mezcla?
Una idea que tenemos es gasificar esas briquetas, generar el gas combustible y alimentarlo a un grupo motor/generador de electricidad.
