We have started with the intensive 3 months alphabetization program, and it will be running 4 days a week, from 8am until 10am.
We are preparing one-off day seminars focusing on health, hygiene and sexual education, and there will be different experienced volunteers coming over to give their lectures on Saturdays’. Tomorrow we are very lucky to have Janvier Balagizi, Provincial Supervisor of Leprosy and Tuberculosis Programmes in South Kivu.
I met Regina this morning, the teacher in charge of the 24 students. I will be telling you more about her in another post. But for now, I would like to share the pictures of today’s class.
